CERTIFIED REFURBISHED ATMS

Used ATM Machines for Sale

A refurbished used ATM is one of the easiest ways to get into the ATM business, expand your route, or add a low-cost machine to your own business. At ATM Money Machine, every used ATM in our inventory is inspected, refurbished, and tested by our in-house technicians before it goes up for sale. You get a machine that’s ready to deploy, EMV-compliant, and backed by our support team, at a fraction of the cost of a new unit.

We’re family-owned and have been in the ATM business since 1997. Every machine we sell is prepared and tested by our own technicians before it ships. You’re buying from people who work on these machines every day and stand behind what they send out.

Used ATM Machines for Sale by Brand

Our inventory of refurbished ATMs is constantly rotating, but a few models turn up far more than others.  All models are refurbished and tested before the sale.

The Genmega 2500 is the used machine we see most often, and for good reason. It’s a durable, easy-to-use freestanding unit that holds up well in retail, convenience stores, and everyday locations, and a properly refurbished one can run for years. That reliability is exactly why it stays in demand on the used market. Every so often we’ll also get a Genmega Onyx. If you’re after a specific Genmega model, call to check what’s on the floor, because these move fast.

Hyosung is where we usually have the most used variety. We often have the Halo and Halo II in stock, along with the Hyosung 2700 series. A used Force comes through occasionally, but those are rare. Hyosung machines are built to handle heavier transaction volume, so a refurbished Halo, Halo II, or 2700 is a strong value for a busier location where you want proven throughput without paying for new. Everything we sell is updated with current software and confirmed EMV-compliant before it ships.

We don’t usually stock used Triton, and here’s the straight reason: Triton is a lower-volume brand these days. It sits at a higher price point and mainly appeals to buyers who specifically want an American-made machine, so used units just don’t come through often, and when they do, they don’t stay around long. If you’re set on Triton, new is almost always the way you’ll go. If you’re open to used to save on upfront cost, we usually have used Genmega and Hyosung ATMs in stock instead. Ask us and we’ll tell you what’s on the floor.

Why Buy a Used ATM Machine?

Lower Upfront Cost

The most obvious advantage of buying a used ATM is the lower purchase price. Our refurbished machines run $1,550 to $1,599, compared to $2,399+ for a new Genmega or Hyosung. That lowers the money you have to put in up front and lowers the risk on your first placement. For anyone testing a new location or just getting into the business, that difference matters.

Faster Return on Investment Than a New Machine

Because you pay less up front, you hit breakeven sooner. Depending on the location, a single machine can bring in anywhere from $200 to $1,000 or more per month in surcharge revenue, so a lower purchase price means you get your money back, and start profiting that much faster. What you actually earn depends on your location’s traffic and surcharge amount, and our team can help you estimate it.

Ideal for First-Time ATM Owners and Budget-Conscious Entrepreneurs

If you are launching your first ATM route and want to minimize risk while proving the business model, a certified used machine is the ideal starting point. It gives you real-world operating experience, revenue generation, and a proven deployment before you invest more heavily in new equipment.

What’s Included When You Buy a Used ATM From Us

Pre-Programmed and Ready to Deploy

We pre-program every ATM before it leaves our facility. Your machine arrives with your surcharge settings, network configuration, and processing credentials already loaded. When it arrives, plug it in, load it with cash, and you are up and operational.

EMV Chip-Card Compliant Out of the Box

All new ATMs we sell are EMV chip-card compliant out of the box, which is the current industry standard for secure ATM transactions. EMV compliance protects both you and your customers from card fraud and ensures your machine meets the requirements set by major card networks.

Fully Refurbished and Tested by Our Technicians

Every used machine in our inventory goes through a comprehensive refurbishment process performed by our in-house ATM technicians. We inspect all mechanical components, clean internal systems, replace any worn or failing parts, and run extensive testing to confirm the machine operates reliably before we offer it for sale.

In-House ATM Processing Included

When you buy from us, you gain immediate access to our in-house ATM processing. We handle all the backend processing that connects your machine to the major card networks, so you are up and running without having to find or set up a separate processor.

Expert Support After the Sale

Our relationship with you does not end when the machine ships. Our expert support team is available after your purchase to answer questions, assist with setup, and provide ongoing technical support. We also offer ATM maintenance and repair services for used machine owners who want professional support beyond basic troubleshooting.

Real-Time ATM Monitoring & Alerts

Monitor your ATM from anywhere through our app or website. View cash balances and transactions in real time, run reports on surcharge revenue and cash dispensed, and receive text or email alerts when your machine is low on cash or reports an error.

Used ATM Machine vs. New ATM Machine

Choosing between used and new comes down to an honest look at your situation. Here’s how to think about it, and for a broader rundown, our guide to buying an ATM machine walks through everything else that goes into the decision.

When a Used ATM Machine Makes Sense

A used ATM is the right choice when you are working with a limited budget, testing a new location for the first time, starting your first ATM route, or looking for the fastest possible return on investment. It is also a good option when you are expanding an existing fleet and want to add machines at minimal cost while your established machines continue generating income.

When a New ATM Machine Is the Better Investment

A new ATM is worth the higher price when you have a premium, high-traffic location with guaranteed strong transaction volume, want the security of a full manufacturer warranty, or plan to operate the machine in a demanding environment where maximum reliability and the latest features are essential.

How to Decide Based on Your Budget and Goals

If you’re just getting started and want the lowest entry cost, a refurbished machine at $1,550 to $1,650 is the smart move. If you have a confirmed high-traffic location and can invest more upfront, a new machine maximizes long-term performance. If you’re not sure, tell us about your location and we’ll give you a straight answer.
